Ok, it's 4.24am as I type this. I woke up at 3.30am just to wait for the closing at 4am (4pm NYC time). Damn... SE usually drives me to sleep, now I'm watching it coz of NKOTB! LoL... Real estate used to bore me, now I'm trying to learn more too... hahahaha... what next? me trying to learn the NKOTB moves? LoL... Been trying too actually. LoL.. I know the "New Kids dance" already and the "Right Stuff" chorus move... lol.. Funny. My poor yoga mat is flattened already.

Damn I am in NYC camping with my fellow Blockheads. yup, there's about 200 Blockheads camping outside the Rockefella Plaza right now... A few of them camped since wednesday night and... Donnie n Jon popped by! LoL... Jon says that they are nuts (in a good way) coz they are camping out TWO days in advance waiting for the Today Show!! LoL... I'd probably died if he said that to me and go to heaven.. LoL...

Random. Random. I just wanna blog. It is odd. I don't usually bother to blog for months but this month is a record! Blame NKOTB! lol...

Probably coz I'm feeling pretty hormonal... lol... Not that my hormons have been stable but lately it has been better than it has been for the past 1 year! LoL... My skins is almost flawless (don't look at the blackheads on my nose... they are almost gone...), my hair actually grew faster than usual and it freakingly much fuller and silkier now. And the best of all... I'm actually losing weight!! Yaaay!!! LoL...

What this have got to do with NKOTB? Well, for starters, I've been much much happier now, laughing and giggling a lot (thanks to all the crazy stuffs I read on nkotb.com) and also been in such a dreamy mood that I barely got time to snap at ppl even when I am stressed and over worked (except that time when I had a panic attack coz of a dateline... I was cursing like mad, feeling abt to faint/ blackout and on the verge of jumping down the building! LoL). I have a new crush (hahahha...) and major crushes like this leads to very good doses of endorphines and stabilises my hormons (LoL)...

ok ok... I'm crapping here again. but at 12.42am who wouldn't? I just need to wait for my manicure to dry then i can sleepzz... hmm... If i type sleepzz in my msn, a picture of Jonathan sleeping pops up... LoL...

I'm really into this 80s thing since January la... I have a bunch of Jem and the Hologram cartoons on my laptop, i have a couple of 80s inspired/ style tops, my nails have been pretty bright coloured (now it's hot pink, toe nails are bright electric blue), been buying big bangles and earrings... listening to NKOTB songs (LoL)... luckily my hair is still normal... my perm didn't work! LoL... Never mind... I have two sets of crimper........ lol.... Been getting 80s style tips from mum! LoL....

hmm... I've been "LoL-ing" a lot lately... as well as ROFLMFAO.... must be a little high on endorphines... lol... Or mayb I'm just showing my age again. LoL... I was talking to my 3rd boss in my office & I said somethings which sounds so odd in the office... kinda slang-ish and he was laughing... he's not that much older, same age as Joe but I think I do sound like a teenager...LoL.. which, I'm afraid (despite my NKOTB obsession) isn't that long ago (LoL... how old should one be to be considered NOT a teen? 20? Then 19 isn't that long ago... It's like 5 years ago! LoL)

Do I miss my teens? probably. I had a crappy teenage years in brunei 15 1/2 until 17 1/2 then i moved out to uni... the worse 2 years of my life probably was then or 2006 after i graduated and bummed at home looking for a job and had no friends... :( Now? Still pretty crappy-ish but I am just waiting for the right man to sweep me off my feet and i will follow him to the ends of the earth... LoL... a KNIGHT in shinning armour (a suit would be fine) on a white horse (or in a white car/ plane...)LoL....

So, all Blockheads out there, Let's Paaar-taay!! LoL.



Seriously, I'm partying alone tonight. LoL.. Just came back from work at6.30 (now's 7.32pm) and my parents went out. Came home and sat in front of my laptop listening to NKOTB mp3s... lol... As I had pledged! (more about that later). Brrr... a bit chilly here. My air conditioning is on high and well... I'm not exactly dressed. LoL... I'll shower after I blog. LoL

So, NKOTB Day... Someone asked what will I do to celebrate it. Well, cant exactly go out celebrating coz I don't personally know any fellow Blockheads in Brunei, which is weirs since the whole population here (est 391,450 in 2007) is definitely much smaller than the whole of Boston (est 590,763 in 2006)! lol...

Anyway, as part of NKOTB Day, I had pledged on nkotb.com to:

1. Vote for NKOTB at least 24 times here (oops... I voted 62 times! lol);




2. Influence my friends to vote;




3. Dedicate a blog post to NKOTB (nothing new, my last few posts were already abt them);




4. Listen to NKOTB songs at work, at home, in the car, in the shower (LoL), and anywhere else possible on my mp3;

So someone asked me, why is NKOTB so great? I'm like, they are the father of all boyband, they are more successful than any other boybands (hmmm... did the word boyband even existed before them?), great music, fun, crazy crazy people (LoL), yummy looking (i kind of have a crush on all of them but nah, Jon's THE ONE... LoL), erm... I could go on forever... Hey, they were my 1st love (musically) and Joe was once my 1st crush (way, way, way before I ever saw Yusry.. LOL) that no one ever knew (ever wonder I ALWAYS like dark/ dark-ish/ reddish wavy/curly haired guys?)


K, what else to blog on NKOTB?? -break. shower first-


Back. I have no freaking idea... They llok hot in suits (ahh... I love gorgeous men in suits). They have funky dance steps. Their music is good for the mind, body and soul (to release stress or day dream, to dance/exercise, to Rejuvenate the soul -music therapy- etc...LoL). Okay, I've coming up with crap now.


NKOTB reminds of fun times as a child. Makes me all excited to revisit my childhood. BUT now they are much older, reminds me of why I think music is so great (if I had the talents, I wouldn't have majored in Film Making, instead I'd take Music... LoL). Music should be fun, not a popularity contest/ beauty contest. Of course that did play a factor in the success of of NKOTB but for me, it's all about the music (and Jonathan... ;p), the dance, the live shows (seen the vids but dying to go to at least one), the videos and perhaps, the merchandise (Len, you know what I want for my b'day- which is same as Jordan's... LoL).


Did I ever have a NKOTB merchandise? No. A NKOTB cassette (old school ma)? No, but I did have a "Greatest Hits" CD, which I have to hunt for in my room. Did I ever meet them? No, except in my dreams, unless I did meet D, D or Jon but din recognise them... LoL.


What got me excited was the whole phenomenon of them getting back together, the new music, the upcoming tour (please please PLEASE come to South East Asia!! I know Brunei has only 0.00001% of osting them, though). Maybe new merchandise? LoL... (it's like taboo to mention it to some ppl... LoL). Or maybe the fact that Jonathan reads the threads in the NKOTB Community? (eeek... Pretend you did not see the Jonathan's Mile High Club or stuff about Jonathan's Elevator Shaft! {or what I said!} LoL)

Hmm... I don't know. I just LOVE, LURVE NKOTB. New Kids On The Block Rocks!!

Aaargh!!!!!!!! I'm like supposed re-design the flyers for the church camp for KOOL & YDM and I'm seriously out of ideas!! If I can put NKOTB photos and write about my beloved JJJDD (as Jul & I call them)- Jon, Joey, Jordan, Donnie & Danny (yeah in that order!) or Double D Tripple J or Triple J DD or... nevermind! I can do that with flying colours. But sadly I'm so uninspired… Damn, even my spelling, grammar and punctuation suck but coz I'm typing this in Word, spell check can check me. Lol

Realistically, I'm been a 'mess' these 13 days since the announcement. Oh wait, since I got the email from nkotb.com on 1 April (it's 31 March in US then) I've been like a kid! I didn't stop squealing for a week like a 5 yr old (think I became a fan at 4 or 5 when I moved back to Kuching)! And don't mention work, I'm pretty zonked out (P.A.s should never, never do that!) and a couple of people have caught me smilling or grinning to myself (Jul knows that without seeing me coz I tell her what I read… lol) and someone said I'm in love. Lol. Yeah, with NKOTB! Lol… Not to mention that I finally lost my appetite to eat (my 'dinner/super' a can of tuna is on the table now and it's half eaten only) so I've been having these weird diet.

• Monday- only dinner.
• Tuesday- lunch and dinner.
• Wednesday- only dinner.
• Thursday- lunch & supper.

Lol… Tomorrow, eh later, I'll be going for lunch with Lina and I reminded her I'm 'semi-vegetarian' at the moment- I only eat vegetables and seafood- and am on a diet so no pigging out for me. Lol. I've been eating so much over the last few years. Depression and boredom was the main cause la. Depression caused mostly by two people who I used to be damn close to (no, my then crush did not contribute to this depression) and seriously I got so inferior complex-ed and probably went cuckoo. Hahaha… just kidding! Lol.

But all is fine now. A little inferior complex still lurking around but I'm coping. I have to, in my line of job. With people I know and am comfortable with I can be loud and chatty but with strangers I can be pretty shy, which is weird since in uni I was so in-your-face! Lol… hahaha…

Hmm... I've finally caught up with my Heroes Season 2. Missed two (yes, TWO) weeks worth of Heroes. Hmmm ... but what I DIDN'T miss last week was this:

Yatta!!! hahahah... I finished the Heroes game... THREE time already. lol. At first it took me 4 days, then two days then one night to complete. Lol... The first time was draggy coz it tooke me almost 3 day to finish the Final Battle... tricky but i figured it out finally. If you are playing, you'll get what I mean.

I'm not here to do a review, nor am I here to tell you how to play (sorry, i'm not a spoiler queen even though I do read them!) lol... The only thing I can tell you is that there is a HIDDEN ROOM in the game wich will provide a vital CLUE related to tehe current 2nd season. WHERE? I also dunno... still looking for it. I think on one of Hiro's level I did wander off in a different path somewhere but i'm NOT totally sure. LoL...

It's weird to blog when I know practically no one reads this but what the hell... this is my only outlet. Anyway, probably will be changing the blog skin... so see how it goes. Kinda sick of the purple look now. lol...

Ok. so I lie. I do hate getting stucked in brunei, no frens except Lina and Khiong, working with OLDER ppl who have kids my age, no life except go to work- come home- sleep- and repeat that every freaking working day!!!

I've been trying to convince myself, life isn't so freaking bad here in brunei. no tax, no war, earn enough money to convince myself not to kill myself after work each day....

do i hate my job? no... i hate my freaking life! d only fun i ever get is when i go out with lina to shop/ eat/ hunting/ wahatever... enough fun to be contented to actually have only one real fren here in this WHOLE country. sad? i think i really should have taken up mum's offer to bring me to psychatrist when i was 15-16. yeah, i've been pretty fucked up since i stepped into brunei. i had a normal life in kuching. when i was in miri at least i have a semi normal life. Now?? i dont haf a life. One day might go haywire and be dysfunctional. maybe i shud do a britney and shave my freaking hair off...

yes. this is my cry for attention, i want, no, i NEED to get out of brunei. it's screwing up my life- depression at 15, suffered from bully-ish from form 4-5, low self esteem at 16, inferior complex at 16, duel/multi personality complex by 18 (if u know me from uni, u'd b surprise to know the me in brunei), no bf til 23.... damn. How to get a bf if wanna go out with a FEMALE friend (aka Lina, who else?) also haf to ask for permission?? Am 23 orr, not 15! My sis sometimes just go out and she's 20!!

my sis allowed to travel on her own (she flew ALONE yesterday) or with frens by 18 or 19. me? d furthest is miri la, by bus n sampan. u think my parents even allow me to go further? once off handedly said wanna go to sibu by land with frens, they freak out... yeah. That bad. and that was when i was in uni.

the first time i went out with frens (legally) was when i was 17 (at 123 0r 14 or so got sneak out la... pretend go to post office or sch or buy sch project stuffs... but go lim teh or just browsing at BOOKSTORE... m such a nerd/ geek). my first sleepover was at 18. my first sem in uni (foundation at riam time) i was grounded for 1 sem coz i got caught at d shopping mall at 10.30pm by my cousin (tale tell... :( grrr...) My first date... hahahha... u think any guy wanna date me? considering that they probably haf to send in written request to my parents just to go out with me or worse probably wanna chaperone. Oh hell...

come on la. M old enough to think here! if in uni manage to fend off ppl who wanted to get into my pants (yeah, a few... including... nevermind), definitely know how to think properly. I mean, d idea of u know, one night stand... to some it's fun but to me... i have a sense of dignity and self worth. i still respect myself and even if no 1 respect me, i still wanna respect myself in d morning when i get up. me no prude (oh hell, further than that ok. my mind is like an x rated movie store sometimes, thanks to listening to too much guys' talk in uni) but dont expect me to screw around.

drug, smoking, drinking, sex... all the vices... i manage to graduate without trying any of those. what makes it different now?? considering i had frens who r alcoholics, chain smokers ( normal ciggies n also those who did weed...), druggies/ pusher (well i suspect only la, cant confirm... lol. dunno whr they r now), permiscuous frens (yeah, some bitches i know slept with HIM)... i don't condemn them for their choices... it's a free world. but they never influenced me. hell, idont even go clubbing!! not that i'm a goody two shoes... iame home at 9am before (but stayng alone so who cares... din come back for days also no1 scold...)

parents shud give me some slack la... m 23, repeat, 23. I work and earn my own money. yes, i did set aside some for d future. for my studies but hey... i need to relax sometimes. need to go out, meet some friends, meet guys (brunei no guys that interest me, all i meet are OLD ppl from work related thingies) mayb date a few guys? Grrr!!! I wish some guy jsut sweep me off my feet, bring me away to a far far away land and live happily ever after... when i was 12, i said i wanna marry at 24... hello, m 23 and no bf... u think my parents let me get married after a short courtship??? no way... ppl gossip only later, must b pregnant one la, shotgun al, whatever la... probably at least 5 years by d looks of it... if i even manage to get a guy to date me in d first place!! sigh... scared of ending up alone... a lonely spinster with 30 cats... Oh hell!! that's scary. if by 40 din marry probably kill myself liaw lorr or b permiscuous... hahahaha.... sigh... only if.... who knows, probably dun even live to be 30 with all this stress and depression... lol. touch wood!!!

But m raring to leave this place so ppl, if u wanna make me happy, offer me a job OUTSIDE of brunei and sarawak/sabah ok. The further aka Hollywood d better! of course m not cutting ties la... come back 4 holidays but hell... need to get out n learn how to cope in d real world. how to be a mother to a 23 year old next time if i cant give advise how it is to b a 23 year old trying to survive in the real world???? Grrr...right now my family is dysfunctional enough ok (not immediate family, extended family). dont make my future like that too... need space to breathe!! aargh!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, my point is... I'm 23. Give me opportunity to grow up and experience life as a 20 something. Allow me to make decissions ( how to how to learn if never get opportunity?? like this job, i applied for it and took it because MY PARENTS want me to, not because I WANT to... more like I HAD to coz I HAD NO CHOICE... I need a job that i enjoy and not a job whr i haf to lie that i liked it whenever i meet YOUR friends) Let me go outh with friends sometimes. If my youngers sister can go for holidays alone, why not me. After all, I'm going with my best friend of 13 years.... who was like another daughter in the family. So... Let me go to Singapore!!!!!!! aargh!!! Stressed enough in office. need to let go some steam before i explode.
